Paris, long considered the epicenter of Art drew World War I veterans hoping to capture fragments of their spent youth, lost on the bloody battlefields of France. They along with expatriates from Russia, Japan, America to name but a few countries citizens, who came to learn from the Masters.
Due to the strong Yankee dollar against the war-torn French Franc allowed artists to live inexpensively and afforded them time for study and to create in their chosen arts. They also came in revolt of strict, Victorian morality that did not fit in with what they’d witnessed in life and death situations they’d survived in the ‘War to end all Wars’.
Thomas Prosser has extensive theater credits on Bay Area, New York and Los Angelas stages. They include acting, directing and producing plays.
