Actor, Teacher, Director, Playwright & Author
Thomas Prosser co-founded, the Bay Area’s Jean Shelton Acting School. He is also a former Artistic Director of the Eclectic Company Theatre.
His several acting teachers include, Sanford Meisner of the Neighborhood Playhouse, Sandra Seacat of the Actor’s Studio and Jean Shelton.
Mr. Prosser has extensively performed at New York and Los Angeles theaters. He performed Off Broadway at the Stella Adler Theater, his solo play, JFK In Retrospect. Other credits include, Samual Becket’s Endgame, William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Taming of the Shrew and Henry IV as well as turns in Sam Shepard’s, Curse of the Starving Class and Edward J. Moore’s The Sea Horse.
Television appearances include the Emmy winning drama, Hill Street Blues, General Hospital, Santa Barbra, Divorce Court and Bay City Blues.
As a playwright he has had four plays performed in Los Angeles theaters. And has authored five novels published by Amazon.com.
